Perspectives Academy Tree

Serving our students

Our specialty programs are thoughtfully designed to support students with a variety of learning and emotional differences. Through low staff-to-client ratios, a supportive therapeutic team, and a balanced approach of structure and flexibility, we provide a safe and consistent environment that promotes emotional regulation, strengthens self-confidence, and supports the development of individual strengths.

The Perspectives Academy approach combines comprehensive mental health support with a focus on emotional well-being, creating a nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and truly flourish.

We assist districts in servicing student placements by providing a supportive, specialized environment tailored to individual needs.

Academics

At Perspectives Academy, we support families who have chosen home education by providing structured, individualized academic guidance within our therapeutic day program. While parents select the home-educated curriculum, our licensed Intervention Specialists and instructional aides offer tutoring, executive functioning support, visual aids, and consistent redirection to help learners stay on track. We target IEP goals through direct instruction and provide quarterly progress reports to support ongoing collaboration with families and districts.

We offer:

  • Structured routines and clear expectations
  • Tools for attention, organization, and self-regulation
  • Supportive strategies that reduce feelings of being overwhelmed and improve focus

Therapy

We know learning and emotional health go hand in hand. That’s why we offer access to:

  • Licensed therapists for individual counseling (traditional or intensive)
  • Psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Personalized intervention plans

We’re happy to coordinate care with outside therapists or provide full services in-house—whatever works best for the student and family.

Social Skills

For individuals who struggle with communication, friendship, or conflict resolution — especially those with high-functioning autism or anxiety — a therapist can offer individual or group sessions to build confidence and connection.

Whether it’s through hands-on learning or guided social skills development, we meet learners where they are and help them grow into who they’re meant to be. We celebrate progress, big and small, and work closely with families every step of the way.

Hear from our parents.

“We met with the staff, we met with the therapist, and I knew right away that this was the place for Ryan.”
