Marianne Wensel

Administrative Director

I have been with the practice since 2017.

My favorite part of my role is helping parents who are struggling to find the right services for their children, both in the mental health and academic areas. I truly enjoy being around our clients and students, and I look forward to coming to work every day.

I entered this field because of my own experience raising two children who struggled with ADHD, anxiety, and sensory processing challenges. At the time, there was no one I could turn to for guidance in making the best decisions for them. I first met Dr. Berk while working at another job, and I eventually sought his help for both my son and daughter. That experience motivated me to pursue a career where I could support families going through similar challenges.

Outside of work, I enjoy counted cross-stitch, spending time with my dogs—Gracie and Luger and being with my husband Dave, Daughter Allison, my son-in-law Jake, my son Joey, and especially my grandson, Carson.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever received came from my father: “Go to work every day and always give 110 percent. It doesn’t matter if someone is the CEO or the janitor—you treat everyone with the same level of kindness and respect. Also, always try to wear a smile, because happiness is contagious.” I strive to live by that wisdom every day.
