Alexandra Opatrny, LSW

Mental Health Therapist

I’m a Licensed Social Worker with 12 years of experience in the mental health field, working with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. I graduated from Kent State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and earned my Master’s of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in 2016. Through this work, I quickly found my passion: helping children and adolescents become their most authentic selves while empowering them to find their strengths along the way. My approach is always person-centered, with honesty and compassion at the forefront of everything I do.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, attending yoga classes, and going to standup comedy shows. I am very close with my sister, who lives in Houston. I try to visit her and her family whenever I can (usually during any school break!). I now have two amazing nephews that you will regularly hear me gushing about.

I believe a very important aspect of your child’s success at Perspectives Academy is collaboration and communication with parents. These sessions are extremely important and beneficial to your child’s overall success. Thank you for putting your trust in me and the entire Perspectives Academy team to help your child on their journey. It is an honor that I do not take lightly.
