I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and have been with Perspectives Academy since 2023. My deepest motivation for coming to work each day revolves around building bonds and rapport with my students. I’m passionate about making a real impact on the youth I serve, and I strongly believe in the power of relatability to connect with and support them effectively.
My professional journey began with working directly with children, and I’ve now accumulated six years of experience in various roles. I spent three years working with adults at a non-profit organization, and before that, two years at a foster care agency, where I supported young adults who had been emancipated. This diverse experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of different needs and developmental stages across age groups.
An interesting fact about me is that I am also on the Spectrum. While I choose to keep this detail private from many, it absolutely informs my empathetic and supportive approach to my work.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy a variety of hobbies and passions, including playing tennis, hitting the gym, organizing, and, of course, listening to music The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given, and one I truly live by, is to “Be unapologetically myself.” Currently, I love unwinding by watching King of the Hill and listening to R&B music.
