Cory Rubeck, M.S., CCC-SLP, CASDCS
Speech Language Pathologist
I’m a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist, holding my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, and I’m also credentialed as a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (CASDCS).
With over 20 years of experience, my passion lies in supporting neurodiverse children and young adults – especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and anxiety. I’m here to help them strengthen essential communication, social thinking, and executive functioning skills, empowering them to navigate their world with greater confidence.
I believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams. Together, we create evidence-based strategies designed for success across academic, vocational, and independent living settings. My focus extends to addressing both social communication challenges and executive dysfunction, by integrating practical organizational strategies, vital transition supports, and effective self-management tools.
My educational journey began with a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Connecticut, and I went on to earn my MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University. During my time at FSU, I had the invaluable opportunity to train under Dr. Amy Wetherby at the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including early intervention, schools, outpatient clinics, adult rehabilitation, private practice, and even corporate consulting. In addition to providing therapy and evaluations for individuals ages 9–21, I also offer professional development for businesses looking to hire neurodivergent employees, and guidance for parents and stakeholders on social and workplace inclusion.
I’m truly passionate about achieving practical, measurable outcomes for my clients. I strive to blend my clinical expertise with real-world, actionable strategies to empower each individual for lifelong success.
Outside of my work, I enjoy unwinding with podcasts, listening to music, and enthusiastically cheering for UConn basketball. Most importantly, I cherish big family meals with my wife, our four wonderful kids, and our very pampered Bichpoo, Lily!
